FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What I'm asked most often — prices, materials, lead time and what I can help with.

What does reupholstery cost in Copenhagen?

It depends on the piece's size, construction and fabric. Most jobs land between DKK 1,500 and 12,000. Call 20 96 57 47 for an estimate based on a photo and short description.

How long does reupholstery take?

Typically about 3 weeks from drop-off to ready. Larger projects can take longer — we agree on that up front.

Do you pick up and deliver furniture in Copenhagen?

Yes, I can usually arrange transport in Copenhagen for a small fee. Call and we'll find a solution.

Do you upholster designer classics like Wegner and Jacobsen?

Yes. I have experience with Wegner (CH24, CH88, the Y-chair), Jacobsen (Series 7, Swan, Egg), Mogensen, Kjærholm, Kaare Klint and Finn Juhl.

Which textiles do you work with?

I keep over 100 samples in the studio from Kvadrat, Gabriel, Romo, Dedar and others. I advise on durability, abrasion resistance (Martindale) and style.

Can you reupholster an IKEA cushion?

Yes. Smaller jobs like IKEA cushions, dining-chair seats and headboards — I do those too. No job is too small.

What is Custom Cover?

A hand-sewn rain canopy for the cargo bike (typically Christiania) — produced locally in Nørrebro together with sailmaker Siv.

Do you have a studio in Copenhagen?

Yes, the studio is at Griffenfeldsgade 28, st.th., 2200 København N — in inner Nørrebro.
