Craft
Upholstery craft — traditional methods, modern materials.

I work with both traditional and modern materials. Every piece gets a build that fits its construction and use — never a one-size-fits-all solution.
Materials
- Horsehair — the classic filling for antique furniture. Breathes, keeps its shape for generations.
- Coconut fibre & tow — natural fillings that give spring and shape.
- Jute — the load-bearing layer in traditional builds.
- High-quality foam — modern comfort where it makes sense.
- Linen, wool, leather — sustainable textiles from Kvadrat, Gabriel, Romo, Dedar.

The process
Every piece is taken apart. The frame is checked and repaired. Upholstery is built up layer by layer. The fabric is sewn and fitted by hand. The whole process usually takes about three weeks — sometimes longer if a special project is ahead in the queue.
